  • One Sai devotee who used to visit this Mandir by name Late Shri.Vishwanath alias Kapoorji committed suicide on 29th November 2013, owing to  his  bad condition (both financial and personal). He left his sick and aged mother and sick  sister all alone with no one to take care of them. He was the only earning member and care taker of his family as his elder brother had deserted the family long back and stayed separately. After the tragic death of Shri.Vishwanath there was no one to claim his dead body . Then Sai Smaran group members came forward and claimed his body and performed the final rites. After that the entire group members contributed their might for his ailing mother and sister’s livelihood. The group was successful in collecting a huge amount of over Rs.4.3 lakhs. With this money Sai Smaran group accommodated both of them in two seaprate ashrams. Thus the group showed true spirit and lived up to its Guru Shirdi Sai Baba who always propogated that “MANAVA SEVA IS MADHAVA SEVA” meaning "SERVICE TO A DEVOTEE IS SERICE TO GOD".
